I have one PC on a network of 50 PCs that is giving me an access error to netlogon.ftl. The user will be in running an application. About every 1-2 hours they get a fatal error message. The fatal error generates the event log entry "user does not have permissions to %SystemRoot%\System32\Config\Netlogon.ftl - access denied." Microsoft's solution is to make certain that the user has ownership of netlogon.ftl, which I have done. This did not help or change the problem. The problem started about a week ago. The PC had been running the same application for 12-18 months without a problem. I also have several other PCs running the same application without a problem. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
