Netfinity 5100 upgrade to W2K

No, unless IBM Director v2.2.1 is installed before the upgrade. There is an eFix to correct the issue: IC32927, available from IBM's Support site. It should be applied before attempting to upgrade.
If it were me, I would not upgrade. I would backup all my data, then perform a clean install of W2K and all MS's latest fixes, then install my Apps, then restore the data.
