I see warning messages from two clients saying :

"could not reset access time of /etc"

What is the meaning?

Thanks

I had the same problem but with /etc/mntab

goto: veritas knowledge base site and type in the phrase,

it will bring up:

to fix:

Add the DO_NOT_RESET_FILE_ACCESS_TIME option to the /usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf file on the clients. For more information on this, please refer to page 352 of the NetBackup DataCenter Systems Administrator's Guide for UNIX.

For example,

File: /usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf

SERVER = sun
CLIENT_NAME = earth
VERBOSE = 5
DO_NOT_RESET_FILE_ACCESS_TIME

but read further:

hope that helps.
