Hi All,
I will be doing a DR test at our 3rd party site and I'd like to get a feel for what will be necessary to restore data to servers. Reading some Veritas docs it looks like bprecover will be the command used to restore catalogs and tape information. Then choose my policies, data to restore, destination server, etc.
Has anyone had much experience with this? We'll be taking 3 full backup sets with us and our software media and software keys.
The hardware is SDLT600 (Quantum ML1500) running on Windows 2000 + SP4. The hardware we will be using at the DR site is also SDLT600 but the drive models are different. Will this raise any issues?
Any ideas or gotchas that anyone knows about would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
