When I run a net use command to connect a drive letter to
a share in a logon script it maps the drive and then opens
a Windows Explorer window for the drive letter. I want the
drive to connect but I don't want the window to open. It
only happens on one of my Windows ME computers. Any Idea's?

At logon this is really weird as I have mutliple net use (and WSH) scripts at logon which work fine.

I'd guess its your client. My personal solution would be to burn the ME disk or use as a coaster and get a real OS such as Win2k Pro (Or if you can stand the GUI WinXP Pro).

Otherwise I would try maybe a format of the client. Maybe best of posting this question in the ME forum. (If there is one).

Good Luck

My sentiments exactly. I was not able to find a ME forum here, but for now I am hoping that someone would know how to fix it so I can at least delay having to install a “real O.S.” on it right now.
