How can I limit the use of the NET SEND command? A few people have worked out how to use it and it is spreading and it won't be long before a manager gets a message which will make him a little displeased.
I find this command very useful and it is used in the login script for all of our users, so the command is needed.
Any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated.

I don't know your OS but can you remove the rights to execute net.exe? (assuming that you have NT's and NTFS)
I haven't used this before, but might be what your looking for.
You can use it as a replacement for WinPopup - especially if you don’t want users to send messages - it only receives.
I think it maybe easier, if you have access to everyone's computer through the network to simply delete the net.exe file from their \WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory. Or by setting permissions you could easily restrict access to the net.exe file, so that only administrators can execute it.
