All,

I am a beginner on Visual Basic and I have created a VBA program in Excel. After finishing, I realized that I could do even more if I had a full Visual Basic package on my PC. Can you tell me which I should get VB 5 or 6? And, where do I get it from? MS and CompUSA don't have it anymore now that VB.Net is out.

I am running Windows 98, and Office 97. The user's in my office who would use my .exe program are on this system too. Which is most likely to work for us all?

Thanks
Tearnie

I'm assuming from your post that you are based in the US,
If so, You can get visual basic 6.0 by visiting this link

or Visual Studio 6 Professional by visting this link

or VS6 Enterprise here

(NOTE: THESE ARE LINKS TO PURCHASE SITES. NOT ILLEGAL DOWNLOADS. IF YOU WANT ILLEGAL DOWNLOADS YOU ARE IN THE WRONG PLACE)

Thank you. I have searched the internet, but I cannot find a place to purchase vs.6.0. All the stores already have .Net and don't have 6.0 now. I cannot even find it on the Microsoft web-site. Where can I get this version?

You might try eBay, or doing a Froogle search (owned by Google - it's at

Yoshi,

Cool Signature, by the way! No worries though, I was looking for a fully legal version. My company won't allow installs of bootleg software. Thanks for the links, really.

Thanks
