need to restore file thats not in client index because browse time has expired. Try to restore index using scanner

Take a look at " Tips & Tricks. Then go to Scanner. There is a sample scanner command there.

The easiest way I know is to perform a save set recover, while using the -a option to specify only the file you wish to restore (e.g. recover -s <backup_server> -S<save_set> -a <path and file of what you wish to restore>). Let me know if you need anymore information...
