Need to Relay Other Domains with Authentication using SMTP

After porting through a PIX firewall, I cannot relay messages to other domains using SMTP. I can relay through the private side but not on the public inwhich I have configured for pop3 and smtp.

I have it set for Outgoing server needs authentication and this works on the private side but on the public it is like it does not get authenticated and comes back with a relaying 550 message.

Any ideas on what I need to add?

Interested in a fix for this as well, I am running into the same thing. Trying to send an e-mail alert from what's up gold to my cell phone but I am running into the same thing.

I found the problem. The firewall has a mailguard feature which does not play nice with esmtp. Turning this off fixed the issue.
