I put RedHat on my box, and decided to put 2000 back on it because there are no drivers available for my sound card, printer, scanner, etc.
So I reformatted, and began installing windows, and when I have to restart the first time during the insallation, I get

GRUB

at the top of the screen. I looked in the book that came with RedHat, and essentially, it said I would have to reinstall RedHat in order to get rid of the "/mbr".

I know, I know. I shoulda stuck to Windows. It's just that I have to learn *nix in order to advance my career.

Thanks in advance.

I've got the same problem. How did you get rid of GRUB?

boot from win98 boot floppy and run fdisk /mbr
or boot into 2k's recovery console and run fixmbr.
