I need to remove a linux partition from a hard disk. how can I do this. I don't have partition magic or anything like that. I simply need to remove the linux in order to install windows on this machine. Can anyone help me? Time is of the essence on this.

Thanks,

Rick

Yeah go to look for a program called AEFDISK. It deletes every partition type I have seen on numerous operating systems.

Good luck.

Thanks. This looks like it will do the trick.

Linux is not that rude. The normal windows installation process will re-partition the disk and Linux is gone.
Or you could use dos fdisk that works too.
