need to backup AOLs files/shortcuts/address book for restore purpose

I will owe big time to someone answering these questions, since i don't have the time to research..

I need to wipe the OS and reinstall, therefore,

need to backup these off AOL 8 installation on my disk:

existing messages
shortcuts
address book

then would have to restore them onto the new system..

Quadpump - - I dont use AOL now but if I remember rightly, go to ad/remove progs. Highlight AOL and click delete. It will ask you if you want to save your folders. Say yes. Save them to a floppy(s) and then re-format the hard drive.

aol tech tell me to back a folder, i believe it was "organize".. for pre aol 7, it holds messages/favorites/address book.

Starting w/ version 7 addressbook and favorites are maintained on aol computers...
