We are running Sql Server 7 on Windows 2000. I need to create a stored procedure that the users can run, but I need to be able to modify it if a problem occurs. The dba is the only one who has sa permissions. Is there a way to create the stored procedure so that I can modify it if necessary, and the users can run but not modify?

Thanks,

Sue

set permissions for your username/role that don't math everyone else's

Esquared,
The problem is that, according to the dba, sa is the only role that allows for modification of the stored procedures that the users run. She doesn't want to give me sa privileges,
