Need sample ARS table and standard routes for a UK site? 2

I have searched the Internet some trying to find out about the numbering plan in the UK and how an ARS analysis plan should be laid out. Not much luck yet except 999 for emergency services and 001 for International. I dont know how long the max size should be for international. I am trying to understand if there is something similar to our 1+10 that identifies toll calls or if the whole UK is flat rate. A sample ARS table and list of routes for a site would help a lot.

In the USA our standard routes for each site are; local, long distance, Known bad, international, emergency, and toll free.

Is anyone in the UK using ARS? I have been studying the number plan but cannot figure out how to tell if a call is a toll call or what the mix and max lengths should be.

We use COR to restrict toll calls on open area telephones. They are allowed local, toll free, and emergency calls.

Our office is in London which is area 020 but I am not sure if all of 020 subscriber numbers are local or if any other areas are local calls.

I would also like to see a list of blocked numbers for a UK site.

If someone with a UK ARS table could post it I would really appreciate it.

Thanks, I have it but it doesn't help me to know if a call is a toll call. Is there a site like this for the UK?

try this, this is "location 4" off a US switch, so it has some bypass routes to use the US PRI's when calling certain area codes.

A sample of uk numbers (not a conclusive list but it might help)

023,027 & 028 are local calls for London.
If the client only wants to allow local calls make sure you barr 02476 which is the code for Coventry and is about 100 miles north of London.

999 & 112 are for the emergency services.
09 numbers are premium rate
118 xxx are for directory enquiry services (rates differ from company to company but can be expensive, so I would ask the customer which one he wants to use, If any at all).
0800 & 0500,0300 are freephone (toll free)
0845,0340,0345 are local rate numbers (charges depend on service provider)
0871,0870 not premium rate but can cost a little more than a normal call. e.g travel shops & helplines

Mitch you should add 112 to your ARS table, while I dont't think it's a legal requirement it's good practice to add it, as its the european Emergency services number.

Thanks to both Mitch and Dave,

I have been supporting this system for 4 years and know it well, but it and they way it is set up is all I know. Expanding into a different dial plan was daunting. I knew what I needed to know but couldn't find it without some help from the great people on this site. You all have been my only support for 4 years (no Avaya support). The examples are just what I needed.

So I guess you are not using multiple FRLs? Our system was set up at several FRLs in different CORs to control what particular extensions can do.
