Need recommendation for Firewall appliance

Hi,
I need to service a small company. They do not want to use a proxy server but would rather use an firewall appliance that they saw in action elsewhere. Basically they have an ISDN router that plugs into a hub where all the other machines plug in thus allowing them access to the internet. They want a firewall appliance that will stand between the router and the hub providing the firewall for all. So in a nutshell-Workstation must hit hub, which then passes through the firewall appliance then passes through ISDN router which connects to the internet (and vice-versa).
Anybody know of a good product for a good price. I found RoBox @ $795. Does anybody know if they are good? Even a bad report on any to stay away from would be appreciated.

All you need is an old 386 PC/laptop (laptops use less power).
