My client has a small engineering shop running a mix of w95 & NT workstations in a NT Domain environment; approx. 15 users. He wants the ability for multiple users to access the internet without dialing out each time (on full time) or having a seperate moden on each workstation. Looking for any solution (within reason $$$) using ISDN, Cable, DSL, Microsoft, etc. that could run off the NT server (PDC) and give everyone web access. I assume a firewall would be a must. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Winroute Pro. Excellent proxy server \ router works with DSL\CABLE (modem or routers) has built in NAT firewall and uses NT user name for authentication, Will run on NT4(W\S or Server), Win2k(Pro or Server) or Win9x. has a built in mail server and runs DHCP, DNS 30 day trial not expensive and a Lite version is available with less features. Use it myself for serving a 50 client network.

Thanks Chris, already have it downloaded. Sure sounds good and not expensive. Any issues to look out for?

Thanks again,

Haven't found anything that would cause loss of sleep. The only thing that takes a little bit of thought is setting up the e-mail alias names, and the only important operation you can't do from a remote admin session is to import the NT usernames.
