Need Hep 1

I have a pII 300, 30gig hd, 128 meg a ram with win98se installed. Had it workning fine. This am power it on, I get
2fast beeps, 8 beeps, then after up to 20 seconds, get 4 quick beeps, fan on cpu is not spinning and get very hot.
I was told it is not a cpu problem, sounds like memory?
I went to a site call a+-computers.com, due to being told codes for the beeps are there, didnt find them, MB does not have specifics to go to the MB site. Does anyone know of a good site to check on MB beep codes, and have anything that can help me?

I went to the url, did what it said, reseat the vid card, now I am not getting any beeps, but pc is on, no display.

Do you have another video card you can try to rule out the problem being the video card?
