Hi,
I'm a network instructor collecting older networking technologies.
I've got an "Synoptics Lattisnet 2914 FDDI Concentrator", a formerly very expensive fiber workgroup hub and got difficulties to get it to action.
When I start it, it hangs during the diagnostics.
There's no output to the Service Port.
In the end the LED panel changes several times between "DIAG","RGDN" and "WIB2" or "WI82" and hangs with "DIAG" and the "Fault"-LEDs of all three rings lit.
Is there anybody who has the knowledge to make a remote diagnosis, has further information ( f.e. a listing of the LED panel codes )diagnostic software or firmware images.
In the internet I only found the User Manual PDF-file.
