Need help with date format in query.

I have a date in the format of MM/DD/YYYY, and I would like to get it formatted like: MM/YYYY. I have tried using DatePart, but it only allows for one variable ex. YYYY. Any help on how to do this is appreciated.

Format([DateTime field],"mm/yyyy")
