I have a video clip with audio, which sounds smooth when just played normally. When I bring it into Premiere, though, some parts of the audio seem to hiccup and sound echo-y. Any one know why this might be happening?
Thanks

It could be the conmpression. It depends on the speed of your machine and some other factors. If it is ok when you render the video, then it is a result of the compression used in the clip. It's a heck of a lot of data. It is not neccessarily the audio that takes the cpu bandwith, but decompressing the video. I had the same problem, and still do(1ghz cpu, btw).
