I am having a hard time remembering which API I need to use. I am just playing around and refreshing my c++ skills. I have two windows. I want when the second window that is opened within the main window to have the focus so no matter where I click on the main window I can not do anything until I close the second window by clicking on ok or cancel. Another example is if you are familiar with ws_ftp pro when you start the program the connection screen comes up and you can not do anything until you click cancel or connect. That is what I would like to do so if anyone knows please help me remember which api it is. Thanks for your time and have a nice day.

Dont think you need an API, just show the dialog with "DoModal", the rest of the program should be inaccessable until the ok/cancel button is clicked.
