need help getting into programing a i2004 nortel phone it is asking for a device id and password ????

Usually it asks for the extn number you are going to assign.
The password is whatever the system has been set up with to register the phone.
You could try the default one or go into the bcm and change it yourself.

Sorry can't give out passwords.

I think the IP set programming was set up so that you had to use the BCM's login account and password.

Funny I was just at a site that was set up like that.
I had to use the numerical login and telst password to register the phone.

This happens if the registration password us blank.
It forces you to use the teleset login details instead
