I've searched the forums and there are dozen's of threads relating to this and almost everyone of them say use a vector. Are system doesn't have vectoring so this wont work for me. We have a Definity G3R v6. I have a user that has asked me if there is anyway of blocking a incoming number. I don't know if the user is calling to harass or what. Is there any way of blocking the incoming number without the use of vectoring since this is not a option for me?

Without vectoring and ISDN with a valid caller ID, you cannot block calls incoming from a specific caller.

We can get the caller id just don't have vectoring.

On your hardware platform / Definity software version you must have both. Try your ISDN provider and see if they can block it, or get vectoring turned on.

Do you have access to EC500? There is a way to use EC500 to block a call. As long as you can match the number. One advantage is it will block that number from calling any number on your system.

ec500 full feature set was added in cm2.1 with feature set from 2004

This switch is g3v6 software with feature set from 1997
