I have recently ugraded our system to a windows 2000 server and WIndows XP Pro clients and have setup the domain. As I add computer to the domain we start experiencing problems with certain applications not running or being able to update properly. For example we recently ran an update to an app that resides on the server. Some of the workstations worked fine, but some had problems, we traced the problem back to not having the appropriate access to the local PC, it seems we need full access to the computer. Does anyone know the best way to accomplish this task. As time goes on we are seeing more problems with this issue (needing full access to local pc)

To better manage who has admin access we added a group to the local admin group and add the users to that group on the domain controller.

franklin97355,
So anyone who has local admin priviliges has admin priviliges on everyone's desktop?

If AD members of the local Administrator Group, yes.
