This is annoying the heck out of me, when I start a single race, and when the animation comes around the back of my car, it locks up right before it would usally switch to Dash view. I have just installed a new Wheel Game Controler(It has locked up before I even Gotten this controler) I have NFS4 updated to the latest version with all the cars. Anyone have any clue why its doing this.
Karl
kb244@kb244.8m.com
<a href=
Experienced in : C++(both VC++ and Borland),VB1(dos) thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, HTML, Visual InterDev 6(ASP(WebProgramming/Vbscript)
I reinstalled it, it seems to be working as far as the Lockups go, but the controler, it's Connection light keeps flickerin during the game(and also when I'm just on the desktop no games open) sometimes it stays stable, but in the game it causes probs, becuase the control freezes for a sec, then resumes control often throwing me off the track, its a Logitech Wingman Formula Wheel, It's digital not analog.
Karl
kb244@kb244.8m.com
<a href=
Experienced in : C++(both VC++ and Borland),VB1(dos) thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, HTML, Visual InterDev 6(ASP(WebProgramming/Vbscript)
Hey Karl, does that wheel pickup its juice from the game port? Some input manufacturers have complained about the fact that the voltage output from many PCI souncard gameports is inadequate to send signal to their devices. This has prompted many to go to USB or even serial.

Just a thought.
Al
atc-computing@home.com

Yea it's through the gameport, on my SB Live! Platinum, If it were a power situation, I think it would least make sence to either include a power adapter, or not use those LED lights.
Karl
kb244@kb244.8m.com
<a href=
Experienced in : C++(both VC++ and Borland),VB1(dos) thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, HTML, Visual InterDev 6(ASP(WebProgramming/Vbscript)
