Greetings oh great masters of sage knowledge..

All seems to be working well with our opt 11C but I am getting DTC003 messages every few minutes..
DTC0003 Clock controller cannot be accessed.

My Questions are:
1. How critical is this (and are my counter settings in LD 73 acceptable),
2. Is it software or hardware problem?
3. and if it is broken then is it something simple enough for an untrained newbie like myself to fix (if so how)?

Also can anyone tell me which manual LD 60 is in?

TIA!

My system info:

ssck 1 gives DTI005 (This is a one clock system if I understand all this right)

opt 11 is a single clock system, my bad... you may want to check or change the clock daughter board on your pri/t1.. because the cc on your ssc seems to stat fine.. the daughter board may be having problems... a clocking problem can cause major problems, from t's going down to the switch doing a few free ini's.. i never ignore error codes they are in the box for a reason

OK,
This is going to be a challange because the system seems to be running fine, but since I do not have access to any replacement parts I will need to call a vendor and the boss will question the expense since all seems to be running well.. At least I can refer to the advice of a very expirenced tech. thanks!

if you have a maint contract, have it fixed.. if the tech that shows up can't, call his supervisor... and keep going up the chain until you get what you are paying for.. then get a new vendor

Problem is the system is so old, and not all that critical, so there is no maintainance contract and getting any money for it is tough (city agency). Thats why I, like many others, have been trying to deal with a 10 year old PBX with no formal training. While this is far from the way it should be done, such is life... and that is why we thank everyone on this forum who spends their time helping.

PS.. I did see a few trunk errors since that might be related so we will tend to this problem:
TRK130 1 2
and
TRK130 1 4

You can have a 10 year old car and it run fine but still have to spend money sometimes for maintenance. Option 11's are tough and will run a long time, but you should always take care of a problem before it causes other issues.

You could actually end up costing more money by waiting, if the system goes down it might take longer to troubleshoot/repair.
