Need Access Security Resources

For a new project using Office 97, I am planning to implement Access security for the first time. It seems like a real booger to do right.

The manuals I have are less than enlightening on many points; the searches I've done on MSDN turn up lots of information, most of little value.

Can anyone advise me of a FAQ or online resource with information on Access security? Maybe a specific document at MSDN? I'm looking for things like: what properties to call in code to open or limit user access, to show or hide fields, to route a user to a specific form based on their group when they click a menu button, etc.

Thanks for your time, and all the help so far.

See the FAQ for this forum. There are three FAQ's there written by very wise people. Ok, at least they are wiser than I am...

Hope that helps...

Ever notice that by the time that you realize that you ran a truncate script on the wrong instance, it is too late to stop it?

I apparently looked in the wrong FAQ file 'cause I didn't see those the first time.

Sorry for the trouble. Thanks for the help.
