Our NEC Univerge SV8100 sends calls from our receptionist (100) to another extension (143) on busy/no answer. I'd like to change that to a different extension (142). Internally, I've got this working, using 24-09-01 to 24-09-05. Calling 100 will forward to 142 after a few rings. However, from outside, it still goes to 143.

I'm not seeing any references to extension 143 anywhere in the web interface, but my eyes definitely glaze over by 30-XX.

What am I missing? Bet it's obvious.

Make sure in 24-09 items 02, 03, 04 and 05 are set to the same destination. Those settings are for busy, internal, busy external, NA internal and NA external.

All were set to '143##8#*', of which I don't fully understand the meaning. I changed them to just '142' and got the behaviour I wanted...except for calls from the external world.

I'll try it again tomorrow morning, as it is <Night> now.
