Hi,
I'm currently trying to create a report containing all information about the groups created in the different containers I am responsible for on our tree.
The system is NW 6.5
The tools I usually use are ConsoleOne and NWAdmin.
Is there any possibility to create reports with them or with another app.?
Thanks for your help.

You can use NDIR if you're brave enough to attempt trying to get the data you require into some kind of nice output but depending on what data you want you should try DSREPORTS.EXE. Its a windows gui prog, only 500k that intergates the NDS tree with almost every parameter you can think of. The output can be displayed on screen before exporting it to either word or excel. Get it from here
Hope this is what you need.

Sorry, I meant NLIST not NDIR, its been a long say!

Wow, dsreports is a fast and userfriendly tool. I just made some tests with it and it seems to be really powerful.
Thanks a lot.
Just one more thing, there are some light differences between group members list and users group membership.
I know that it is due to the fact that it is a dual DB and not relations that are stored. Is there any easy way to re-synchronise those relations without loosing any info ?
Thanks again to Datong for his really valuable answer. Thanks also to you, LawnBoy.

I dont know of any quick way to synchronise the two groups, its a manual task best attempted with NWADMIN. Use the "Details on Multiple Objects" option by selecting all your required users and adding them to the group. Im not quite sure what info you think you would lose trying to sync the two. There may be a 3rd party solution out there but I dont know of it, sorry. Glad to be of help before though !
