Good Morning!

I have most likely a very common problem. We just upgraded to Exchange 2000
and all is ok. The one thing I cannot figure out is when I have the NDR's
forwarded to a mailbox it only lets me forward them with an internal
address, not the original address. The problem with this is that when I
forward the message on to the appropriate person it does not retain the
original sender's email address, just my email address (the one who did the
"send again") How do I correct this?

I had the same problem as this. The only way I could get round it was to insert the original senders email address into the forwarded email. To find out who sent the original email, right-click the NDR email in your inbox and choose options. Look at the internet header messages and the original email address will be in there - just copy and paste it into your forwarded email.

Thanks! That seems like a waste of time to me. 5.5 almost seemed better in some ways. Oh well. I guess my users will just have to wait until the email sender re-sends the email to them.
