I am currently having issues with a recently installed secondary Exchange 5.5 server that has been installed at a new site within the domain. Any new mailboxes (for that matter any mailboxes) that are created on this server, when the user tries tosend an external mail the following non-delivery report is returned:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: test
Sent: 7/22/03 9:24 AM
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
"XXXXXXX@XXXXXX" on 7/22/03 9:26 AM
A restriction in the system prevented delivery of the message.
This server is connected to the the original exchange 5.5 server through x400 Primary connector. External mails can be received by the mailboxes however.
I have looked at the other threads within this forum and have checked all the recommendations from them such as the properties of the DL. Could it be due to something with the X400 connection?
Any help would be welcome
