Hi All,

I've a problem with one node in Win2k server network. The node is not able to connect to internet. The browser says "DNS error". I ran nbtstat command and one of the display is "Conflict". Is it because of the bug or is there a problem with my network?
Pl. help me to resolve the issue.

FYI: Node has Win 98 SE as OS. Internet connection is thru ISA Server 2000.

:(

TIA

I guess the ISA client is installed 'n properly configured. Did u try nbtstat -rn? Which netbios name type is showing conflict? Check whether the name of 98 box is a duplicate one. Also try "ipconfig /all|more" 'n see if the details r as it should be....

Hi wiedersehn

Thanx for the posting.

ISA is configured properly. The netbios name type is hybrid. When I check the winipcfg, (similar to ipconfig)i don't find the netbios name of the problematic PC ! I don't know how to go about now!

Network sharing is there only internet browsing is the problem

TIA
IT
