Recently I did a live update which installed some new components to my NAV. I believe it was an update to Symantec Redirector. Ever since then when I do a liveupdate, it will download the virus definitions, but never change the virus definitions date.
Each time I retry liveupdate it thinks it needs to download "Norton AntiVirus Virus Defintions" (the smaller of the two files it usually downloads for a new set of virus definitions). But this download never takes.
Before this problem arose, it seemed like I always had to download the virus definition file a second time for NAV to catch on to the fact there were new definitions. Now it just doesn't work at all.
Going to Norton's web site and downloading their intelligent update works just fine on updating the definitions.
Is there any way of getting this working besides a fresh reinstall?
