I had a thread about using my DSL modem with my 2620XM. I have the modem in bridge mode and am letting the 2620XM do all the PPPoE negotiations, etc. The router fa0/0 is connected to the modem, and it gets the IP address just fine. I am NATting to the inside via my loopback interface. I have a loopback because I am using a virtual-access for my connection to another router, via two v.35 serial interfaces in a bonded configuration. I can ping the fa0/0 on the 2620XM from my pc...the connection goes like this...

pc-Cat2924-2620-2620XM-modem-internet

I cannot get outside the modem, though. It seems that the 2620XM is not NATting properly---the fa0/0 has the public IP from the negotiation to the modem/RADIUS server at ISP, the loopback is 172.18.0.1/16, the loopback of the other 2620 is 10.69.69.69/8 and the address of the fa0/0 going to the switch and pc is 172.19.0.69/16. I can ping from the 2620XM to and can ping the pc. Show IP NAT translations shows the inside global as 192.168.0.1, which would be the private IP of the modem if it were NOT in bridge mode. My question is...can I use the loopback address and interface for NAT inside? Or should I use the virtual access that comes out of bonding the serial interfaces? Or should I just get a stupid ADSL WIC for the 2620XM and NOT use a second router? I don't know about an extra WIC-1ENERT for the 2620XM to connect to the modem, because I am not sure the modem knows how to truly bridge and be used for the ATM interface only...what should I do?
