Naming Shape PPT VBA 2000

I'm having no problem nameing a shape with the following

With ActiveWindow.Selection.ShapeRange
.Name = myName
End With

But I was wondering if it is possible to delete the name (not the shape) and have powerpoint rename it using it's own convention?

As far as i know no, as the name is generated when you create the shape. so the only way to do it, would be to delete the shape and put a new shape back in its place.
