The naming context is in the process of being removed or is not replicated form the specfic server. I am recieving this message when I try to force a replication. How can I fix this.

then my first guess would be a DNS problem, most likely a missing or bad SRV record for your DC. you might be able to fix it by just restarting the Netlogon service on your DC, but before you do that, make sure you're allowing Dynamic updates on your nameserver or else the DC won't re-register itself.

It is not a DNS problem. All the server a registering there name properly. I can even do NSLOOKLUP and ping ad reslove the name without access issues.

frankly, that has nothing to do with SRV records, which is what I was driving at, but if you don't want to try it, no big deal, just trying to help.

I have restarted the netlogon service mutiple time. I have also delete the DNS server and recreating. Then getting all the server to update their SVR records. I can ping my server usinf the SVR record so I think this aspect is OK. Dynamic update is turned on. Any other hints?

I am having the same issue between a 2000 server and a 2003 server. I have done a domain prep and forest prep. I'm logged in as Administrator on each. I have tried the ntdsutil in DS repair mode. I'm going nuts. I don't know enough to resolve the issue. I don't know what the SRV comment means.

I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thank you

I think the issue that was pointed out to me might have been that I had two nics in my DC
