Name display not working for secondary extension 1

We have a CS1000, the M2616D phones won't display who's calling when the extension on the 01 button is dialed. How do I fix this, anybody know?

At least on our system the overflow line is the extension with a 1 in front, so we have to add the name to that extension as well.

In CLS see if your phone has ADD or TDD, you will probably have to change it to TDD.

We have a dept. head who's off on medical leave, and another person who's taking over her office while she's away, but he also has his own office. I put his extension on her phone temporarily, so he answers his line on her phone.

The display shows whoever's calling's name, but only AFTER he presses the button and answers the call. :+) I guess he's admitting he doesn't want to answer calls from certain folks. Thanks for looking, Unfundednut!

He wants to use both offices apparently. I try not to ask too many questions, just give 'em what they want.

I have been working on these switches for 23 years and I'm still learning. Glad it worked.

If a phone is not set to TDD at my place... I hear about it pretty quick.
