My Vpn connection keeps dropping on comcast cable?

Anybody have any ideas why my vpn connection keeps dropping after being connected for about 20 seconds. I am using comcast cable than connects to my dell d600 laptop. There error message i get is " the routing table could not be altered after the vpn connection has been established".

Any info would be appreciated.

That sounds like a Nortel VPN client with split-tunneling enabled.
If so,there is a bug.

You might take a look at this thread:

Also, ICMP redirects from ComCast to your client machine might also cause this issue. You might try installing/running "Ethereal" to capture/decode your traffic to better diagnose.
