my sound loop is not looping correctly???

so i've imported my loop into flash (and set it to loop), plus i've got my on and off buttons... everything is working fine except for the loop...

when it loops it sounds like theres a tiny bit of space in between each play and i really dont know why this is happening and i would love to fix it.

i know the loop file is fine, its just that flash isn't looping it correctly. how do i solve this problem???

ok so i just did a search and realised that i should not have imported it as a MP3 file but as a WAV or AIFF. that sorted out the silent gap and its looping fine.

....but now the quality of sound has degraded. when outputting as MP3 the file size was 168kb now its 20kb as both WAV or AIFF. what do i do???

When you double-click the .wav in the Library, is the compression set at Default?

Under File->Publish Settings->Flash tab... Are you overriding the sound settings, with a lower compression?
