Hi, I'm running win xp pro, my secondary hardrive some how has be knocked off, when i tried to access it, it asked me if i want to format it. I have alot of stuff on it, is there a way to get it back? thanks for your help

Presume disk being detected correctly in the bios?
Did the XP previously read the second drive ok? If it did, try disconnecting drive, starting up without it, shutting down, reconnecting it and start up again. See if it detects it any better this time (this has worked for me a couple of times). If its FAT32, can you read it booting from a win98 boot floppy ( if you haven't got one).
If it has never read the drive properly, what filestore is on it? Where did it come from, is there overlay software on it?
