My Quick Launch Tool Bar Keeps Disappearing when I Reboot

Every time I shut my system down, my Quick Launch Toolbar goes away when I reboot. I've tried to lock the task bar but to no avail. Any ideas?

Specs: Toshiba Satellite, 2.4 P4, Gig of Ram, 40 Gig HD, Windows XP Pro.

See if System Restore will get you back to a restore point before your problem with Explorer.

Run the System File Checker program from the Run Box by typing.....Sfc /Scannow in it and have your XP CD handy.
