Hi everyone, I've got a weird issue I'm not sure how it's occuring.

I am a domain admin of our AD domain and have 2 accts - one regular and one admin.

Somehow my admin acct has had a profile generated on a number of our XP workstations even though I have NEVER logged into them?? The profile date stamp on the workstaitons is on different days and times.

Anyone have any idea what might be causing this? I'm pretty sure my admin acct hasn't been hacked.

Thanks in advance!

Never heard of that. Delete the profiles and change your password then check periodically to see if they return. That is just bare minimum.

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.

Have you got a service or application that uses that login to update etc.

We use sophos here and when a client updates is scheduled to update it logon with that account and thus the profile may appear on the client.

Just a thought.

No, no service or app runs under my admin acct. I have changed the password. I'll keep searching.

Thanks for the help!!!!!!!
