Pingvin: which version do you have ?
PM6.5 can import two dozens formats.
Probably you mean RTF =rich text format ?
Recommended is RTF for simple text,
plain WORD Text (complex WORD structures
are usually not correctly imported), images TIFF, BMP,
for whole pages EPS.
From any PM file you can Export to PDF.
You can see the list of available import filters by a trick:
Open the "About PM" info box using key CTRL pressed.
