Hello, i have a problem. I have this brand new equipment:

ASUS P5PE-VM Socket 775
Intel Celeron D 347 3.0 GHZ 775 533 MHZ

And i have a new Power Supply of 500 W that works perfectly (i checked on diferent PCs and its ok). The problem is that after i turn it on, it turns out itself in a few seconds sometimes and sometimes it last long. It always POST, but sometimes it turn off just after it POST, i can enter the BIOS but it turns off eventually, i dont even have time to give a good check on the BIOS. Please! Does anyone has any idea wath can i do.

If it's not power, then it could be shorting. Look for any place where the back side of the motherboard might come in contact with the case. If it shorts out then it might appear to just turn off. Also, double-check all of your connections to the mainboard to ensure they are secure, and visually inspect the board for signs of damage.

Make sure that your CPU's heatsink/fan is mounted correctly and that the fan is spinning up. If the CPU overheats then it will shut down.

Ok thanks, actually i was thinking on something like that, a shorting but i didnt know wath to do. I will check on that
