My fonts don't show anymore!

I am using PM 7.0 and all was wonderful...for a while. Suddenly I do not have the fonts on the "type" menu at the top. I know it was there before. I cannot think of anything I have done to change it. Any suggestions? Many thanks

Do your fonts show up on the floating control palette? Go to Window> Show Control Palette. The fonts should appear in the window at the left of the palette.

If not, something drastic has occurred with PM 7.0. Try to uninstall it and then install it afresh.

Yes they do show up there which is they only way that I can do anything - with the fonts. Everything else seems to be working just fine. Thanks for anyhelp you can give.

I would uninstall the program and reload it. Right now the program is still working, but you never know when something else may go belly up.

Here is a unique problem. I could have gone for years and not realized that the fonts did not show under the menus because I always use the styles tab or control palette to set fonts.

I suppose you might try just leaving it alone. It can be a risk especially when you have that special file open that you just can't afford to lose.

Yea, I was thinking about reinstalling this weekend and see what happens. Luckily because of losing too many things in the past I'm pretty good at saving my documents that I'm working on. But as you say you just never know when something - anything - can go belly up. thanks again for your help.
