Hi,

has someone an idea for my problem ?

My application should be started only once. All further attempts to excute my exe file should be regonized somehow and the exe should close then immediatly.

Thanks in advance

Sascha

If you mean only ever once then never again, you could try registry entry?

If you mean not more than once at any one time then look up App.PrevInstance in VBHelp

My application is just an info Tool for our users. Its is autostarted at their login. But they also have a shortcut to start it.

I just wann to be sure that a user wont start my application 100 times.

Thx for the info I will have a look at "App.PrevInstance".

Thanks Sascha

Yep thats it. Shame on me to ask so simple questions.
