Im my windows 2000 advanced server,i dun no how My Document folder is deleted, Now i cannot get it back.
Is there any method...

Try this, re-create your user profile. Log on as a user with admin rights, delete the user profile folder (backing up files of course) from the documents and settings folder. Then, log back on with the profile missing the my docs folder and the profile should be re-created with all the default folders. Now all you have to do is copy the files you need from the backup. Of course, if you had files in the my docs folder, and you're just trying to retreive the files, then this won't help.

Hi everyone, I'm having difficulty setting up an SUS server. I have the updates approved, the group policy has been set to direct clients to the SUS server, however, after waiting more than the 17- 22 hours, my group policy is still not being applied to the client. I have a fresh install of Win2K server set up as a local domain only, and I am using a win2k pro client. The server gets the group policy settings applied for automatic updates, but the client doesn't. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Bendall,

I just set up SUS to run on our network last week and so far so good. Have you looked at auto updates on the client to see it if is grayed out (group policy in effect)? Right click my computer, properties and automatic updates. Are the settings grayed out? Also check your sync log, is the server getting updated each day?
