my databsase window has managed to find a way to slip itself right under the tool bars in access. I cant move it because the title bar cant be seen so i cant get the mouse over it. any suggesting on how to bring that window back down?

If you have the focus on the database window can you use the scroll bar on the right of the access window to bring it down? If not press Alt-hyphen to display the control menu for the database (child) window and select Move. Press the down arrow key once and drag your mouse to reposition the window then click the left mouse button to stop moving.

Thanks for this one, i dont know what i was going to do if it got any worse. the database window keeps crawling up just a little every time i open it up.

Also, try just 'tiling' the windows. Under the Windows Selection of the tool bar. just click on the 'Tile Vertically'.
