my command prompt screen for windows

was a little neat box that i could have other stuff open, but stupid and curious me clicked full screen and now i can't get back to the neat box.

is there a command or what? i'm running windows 98

From within the command prompt window, click Alt-Tab. This brings you back to explorer with the prompt minimized. Right click on the prompt item in the taskbar, select "Properties". Click on the "Screen" tab and under Usage, select "Window". Click "OK". When you left click on the prompt item, it'll come back in windowed form.

In the upper right hand corner of the window, there are 3 icons or buttons. Click on the middle one, and should should be back to what you want.

You can also click Alt-Spacebar to activate the window's system menu and select "Restore".
