My cdrom drive freezes in WindowsNT. I would be burning a CD on my burner and for some strange reason it gives me the error that my cdburner is not responding, so I quit the application and try to retrieve the original cd from the drive, but the drive won't open. For me to get it open I either have to reboot the machine, which is a total waste of time for me or I retrieve the cd by using a paper clip through the little opening the cdrom drive has on the outside.
